This is the beginning… The first video we shot during the next chapter of Big Dog Motorcycles – Daytona Bike Week 2016
Big Dog Motorcycles is back and better than ever!
Come along on our journey to reveal the new Limited Edition Big Dog Mastiff at the Broken Spoke Saloon at Daytona Bike Week 2016!
Here’s the back story –
During a short break following the economic downturn, Big Dog Motorcycles changed ownership. As a result, the new team passionately refined the Word’s best-selling Chopper and Prostreet Motorcycles. Among the changes include the largest production engine available from S&S and a robust electrical system. The new computer system is waterproof, vibration proof, resistant to electrical surges, and nearly bullet proof… If you don’t believe me, check back soon for videos of our torture tests where we try our hardest to destroy the new computer system (formerly called the EHC).
Back to Daytona – This video was a very last-minute idea. Fortunately, being a producer of actions sports and motorcycle videos for over a decade, made me a great candidate to fill the position to document this trip. It also didn’t hurt being close friends since college with Matt, the President of Big Dog Motorcycles.
So, literally 3-days before my arrival in Daytona, I was taking a nap at my home in Dillon, Colorado after a day of snowboarding. My phone rang, and I almost didn’t get up and answer it. Fortunately I did decide to see who was calling. When I saw it was Matt, I decided to answer. Much to my surprise, I was invited to fly to Daytona and document the trip.
Although there was no game plan, no budget, and no goal for the final video, I did the best I could to capture as much of the trip as possible on my “Gopro Hero 4 Black Edition”
